Projects

Improving people’s health, having a useful impact on person’s lives, becoming wealthy in scientific discoveries are some of my main career goals.

PhD Project

Researcher - PhD student

While the world has moved towards ubiquitous connectivity, changing how people socially interact, little is known about children's and teenagers’ emotional safety and privacy with disruptive technologies like Virtual Reality (VR). My PhD project focused on safeguarding children in social Virtual Reality (VR).

My research has been disseminated through 6 peer-reviewed papers at leading HCI and computer-child interaction venues (CSCW, CHI, IDC), involving 150+ children, 50+ guardians (parents and grandparents) and 16 experts in Academia and Industry (with 5+ years of experience in child safety/psychology), in multi-method research across 8 empirical studies.

I have actively helped shape emerging policy in the XR space. Notably, I submitted evidence to the Ofcom consultation on online safety regulation (2023), contributed to REPHRAIN’s white papers on the Metaverse and Web 3.0, and participated in the IEEE/Council of Europe’s Joint Report on the Metaverse (2024). These outputs illustrate my familiarity with regulatory and policy dimensions of XR technologies.

Numerous Projects throughout my degree at UCL and summer internships (2017-2021)

Consolidated science and engineering skills including innovative thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
